Black women are stressed! From COVID-19 quarantining, to the uncertainty of school re-openings, to the constant reminders of racial inequality - sometimes Black women feel that they must bear under the weight of it all. Coping for Coceaux Women is a safe place for Black and Brown women to discuss how to cope with the many stressors presented during this time.
I spoke with special guest Dr. JaNaè Taylor, Clinical Psychotherapist and founder of Minding My Black Business and we discussed how you can adapt, overcome, and preserve mental well-being.
