Certified Nurse-Midwife

Dr. Shaughanassee Vines, DNP, CNM, CNE is a doctorally prepared nurse-midwife and the founder of Coceaux Health. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience working as a women's health provider.

Dr. Shaughanassee is a leading health authority keeping audiences informed through blogs, speaking engagements and practical health tips. She is a featured women's health expert as seen in Bustle and is also a sought out speaker across the country on women's health and anti-racism in maternity care. Some of her audiences include: the American Association of Birth Centers, the Institute on Violence, Abuse, and Trauma, the Colorado Nurse Midwives Association, the American College of Nurse Midwives, California Nurse Midwives Association, the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners and many others.

Aside for her career, she enjoys spending time with family, tasting new foods, spa time, and traveling to new destinations.

Dr. Crista Glover

Licensed Professional Counselor

Dr. Crista Glover is a licensed professional counselor, speaker, writer, supervisor, and adjunct professor in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She has been practicing full time for over fourteen years in various clinical settings and is excited to join the Coceaux Health team. Her clinical interests include burnout, compassion fatigue, and how to use mindfulness and movement in health promotion. Part of her unique philosophy of care comes from her personal journey toward wellness that she shares in her Amazon published book, “Healing through Movement: Getting Back up after a Broken heart.”


After years of running her own wellness website, she now continues to share the gospel of wellness as host and creator of her podcast, Come Find Rest, available anywhere you listen to podcasts.
